Students from Yokohama National University (YNU) recently embarked on a transformative visit to the University Institute of Chemical Engineering and Technology (UICET) at Panjab University as part of an impactful student exchange program designed to enhance cross-cultural understanding and foster academic collaboration. While at UICET, the students engaged with the Dean of International Affairs and connected with international peers, sharing valuable experiences and insights.

The students had the pleasure of exploring Chandigarh’s rich cultural heritage alongside its modern architecture, visiting iconic landmarks such as the Rock Garden, Sukhna Lake, the Art Museum, Gandhi Bhawan, and the Botanical Garden. They were captivated by the city's seamless blend of tradition and innovation, evident in its serene gardens and dynamic urban landscape. In addition to cultural exploration, the students toured several prominent industries, including Mondelez Cadbury, Tynor Orthotics Pvt Ltd, and Gillard Electronics Pvt Ltd. These visits provided profound insights into the practical applications of their academic studies and showcased the vibrant business environment of the region.

The exchange program also included community engagement activities, immersing the students in local lifestyles, customs, and the famed hospitality of the area.
