The Dr. Shanti Swaroop Bhatnagar University Institute of Chemical Engineering & Technology (formerly known as DCET) was set up in collaboration with the Illinois Institute of Technology, USA, and Panjab University. One of the premier institutes in the country, Dr. S.S.B. UICET, has been achieving milestones in the field of chemical engineering and research and has earned a name for imparting quality technical education for the last 60 years.


Initially headed by Prof. R.E. Peck of IIT Chicago, the institute has a sprawling campus that comprises state-of-the-art equipment with an eminently distinguished and highly qualified faculty, the institute has maintained global standards of excellence over the years.


With more than six decades of existence as the premier institution in Chemical Engineering and Food Technology, Dr. SSBUICET is committed to providing quality education of global standards to students stepping into the professional realm full of opportunities and challenges.
